Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan is planning to make a horror film.

Christopher Nolan, known for his complex and exciting films such as Interstellar, Inception and The Dark Knight, has shown interest in the new genre. The Oppenheimer director spoke about his future plans during a conversation with the British Film Institute.

Nolan admitted that he wants to explore horror films in the film industry. He explained that horror films are important to him because they rely on cinematic techniques that encourage the viewer to react internally on the screen.

Christopher also noted that there are moments of horror in Oppenheimer, especially after the Manhattan Project team succeeds in creating the first atomic weapon.
