Apple has updated its iOS operating system to version 17.4, adding new features for iPhone 15 users. One of the key innovations is an easier way to check the battery status.

The Battery section in the Settings app now provides an instant display of battery status without having to navigate to previous menus. Users can quickly see if their battery is in good condition, as well as get information on the number of cycles, date of manufacture and first use.

In addition, the Charging Optimisation section continues to provide users with the ability to customise charging to preserve battery performance. With Optimised Charging, you can limit the time the battery stays at 100% and set the maximum charge level to 80% to further preserve the battery.

It's worth noting that these changes only apply to the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the battery settings on older iPhone models remain unchanged.
