Road to a new genre: critics are pleased with the unusual car simulator with survival elements Pacific Drive
Tomorrow is the release of an unusual "survival simulator on wheels" Pacific Drive, in which gamers are invited to travel through the post-apocalyptic world and take care of the serviceability of their car.
But promotional materials game looked interesting and fresh and, as it turned out, this impression was not deceptive, at least that's what critics think.

Pacific Drive gets pretty good reviews from experts. They note that the game turned out to be really complex and not always clear, but it has a lot of interesting mechanics and unusual details, which suggest that Pacific Drive will start a new genre of games.
Gamers are given a lot of opportunities to interact with the car: it can be improved, repaired, customised and at the same time you should keep an eye on the environment, think over the route and generally act with great care.
Reviewers differed in their views on the plot of Pacific Drive: some found it boring and uninteresting, while others were impressed by it.
Pacific Drive received the following ratings:
- on Metacritic 74 and 77 points on PS5 and PC respectively;
- on Opencritic 78 points with 85% recommendation.
