A nuclear missile test launch from a Royal Navy submarine has failed for the second time, with the UK Ministry of Defence saying it was an "anomaly".
Here's What We Know
The Trident II ballistic missile fell into the water near the launch site off the coast of Florida. This is the second failed launch in a row, following a 2016 attempt.
In addition, Defence Secretary Grant Shapps was on board the submarine during the failed test.
The Ministry of Defence also told Business Insider that an "anomaly" occurred during the test launch. The reasons why something went wrong were not specified.
