Samsung will incorporate Galaxy AI into its smartwatches and other wearable devices
Samsung recently unveiled its new flagship smartphones Galaxy S24, in which the main chip was the introduction of artificial intelligence Galaxy AI. We have considered the main features of this innovation in a separate material. Samsung says that they have received a lot of good feedback about the use of AI in the new series of smartphones and they plan to implement their artificial intelligence in their other devices, including wearables.
Here's What We Know
TM Roh, president and head of Samsung MX, revealed in a recent editorial on the Samsung Newsroom website that the company wants to incorporate Galaxy artificial intelligence features into its future wearable devices. Samsung plans to use artificial intelligence to improve digital healthcare and "unlock a whole new era of expanded, intelligent health experiences". He said Samsung will work with industry-leading AI partners to improve all its products in the future. While the company hasn't revealed much information about these upcoming features, they could debut with the upcoming Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch 7 series, which are expected to be unveiled in the second half of this year. Both upcoming wearable devices could be announced in the third quarter of 2024 along with the Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event.
TM Roh stated that artificial intelligence will revolutionise not only Samsung's smartphones but the entire industry. He also added that the company has many concepts and ideas that it wants to realise. In the future, there will be more artificial intelligence features on Galaxy devices including smartphones, smart watches and tablets. However, he also said that AI is in its infancy and is prone to hallucinations.
There is a debate on intellectual property rights as well. Thus, concerns and responsibilities need to be considered, and companies need to co-operate more openly in the field of AI. Samsung says it will continue to strive to improve the privacy and security of Galaxy devices.
