UK to allocate 245 million pounds for artillery shells for Ukraine

The UK government will spend £245 million (approximately €286 million) in 2025 to purchase the artillery shells Ukraine needs.

It is noted that artillery has proven to be critical to Ukraine's success on the battlefield, as Ukrainian forces inflict heavy losses on Russians, preventing them from making significant breakthroughs.

The UK ministry also said that Ukraine is very effective in using artillery for counter-battery fire, as it has learned to use drones and radar systems.
