Leaks of the official Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 cases have surfaced
Samsung is preparing to launch two new smartphones - Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G. Expected next month, these phones have already been approved by certification bodies in some countries, hinting that they are almost ready for launch.
Here's What We Know
Well-known insider Evan Blass shared images on his Twitter, purportedly being the cases for these models. It looks like Samsung is planning to offer two types of cases for these smartphones: a screen-protecting, strap case and a pocket case, also known as Smart View Wallet case. Judging from the renders, the Smart View Wallet case for Galaxy A devices has a pocket on the back of the case rather than inside the protective case like the cases for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Based on earlier leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to have a 6.5-inch 120Hz OLED screen, 6/128, 8/128 and 8/256GB memory configurations. The smartphone will get a new Exynos 1480 processor, 50 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP main camera, 32 MP front camera, IP67 protection and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support. While the Galaxy A35 will feature a 6.6-inch 120Hz OLED screen, 6/128GB and 8/256GB storage configurations, Exynos 1380 processor, 50 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP main camera and 13 MP front camera. It will also get IP67 protection and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
The novelties are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
