AOOSTAR GEM12 Pro unveiled: a gaming mini-PC with built-in screen, fingerprint scanner and more

AOOSTAR has announced a gaming mini-PC - GEM12 Pro, which differs from its competitors by its unusual design and powerful stuffing. The mini-PC has a built-in screen that shows various information about the system, as well as a fingerprint scanner for quick and safe unlocking.

Here's What We Know

The GEM12 Pro is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, Ryzen 7 7840HS or Ryzen 9 6900HX processors that have 8 cores and 16 threads. RAM can go up to 32GB and internal storage can go up to 1TB. Graphics are provided by an inbuilt Radeon 780M iGPU GPU that supports modern games. In addition, the mini-PC has an OCuLink port that allows you to connect an external graphics dock with a desktop GPU.

The mini-PC features an advanced Glacier 3.0 cooling system with a large evaporation chamber that is capable of delivering 75W of performance. In terms of dimensions, the GEM12 Pro measures 15.2 x 15.2 x 6.2 cm and weighs 1.2kg. Among the ports are USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, DPI 1.4 and HDMI 2.1.

The AOOSTAR GEM12 Pro Gaming Mini-PC is already available for purchase in China, priced between 2,499 yuan (US$347) and 2,699 yuan (US$375) depending on configuration. No word on a global release yet.
