Samsung has announced the launch date for its new mid-range smartphones Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. The company has confirmed that both devices will be unveiled on 11 March at a special online event. Samsung also revealed some of the features that will be available on these phones such as premium design, powerful processor and low-light camera.

The Galaxy A55 and A35 are highly anticipated models that are expected to bring more innovation to the Galaxy A lineup. The Galaxy A55 is expected to get a metal frame, a new Exynos chip with an AMD-based GPU and possibly 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy A35, on the other hand, could be a more affordable variant with some compromises on specs.

Both phones, however, will not be eligible for the seven-year upgrade that Samsung has promised for its Galaxy S24 flagships. It is also unknown if they will support the Galaxy AI features that make the Galaxy S24 unique. Pricing and availability details will be announced at an event on March 11.
