Galaxy S10 Lite, Note 10 Lite, Galaxy A71 and others will no longer receive updates
Samsung has announced that it will not be releasing software updates for the Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A02 from March 2024. These devices will no longer receive new features or versions of the Android operating system, only critical security patches when needed.
With the discontinuation of updates for the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Samsung has discontinued support for all Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 models. However, this does not apply to the Galaxy A71 or Galaxy A02 models. Samsung will continue to release security updates for these smartphones for another year.
Samsung is one of the leaders in software support for its smartphones and tablets. The company is now promising up to seven major Android updates for its flagships and up to four major updates for mid-budget devices, as well as regular security patches.
