Rumour: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will receive a new Exynos 1280 chipset
Samsung is preparing to release an updated version of its mid-range Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet. The new model, which is scheduled for 2024, will remain largely faithful to its predecessor, but will receive certain improvements.
Here's What We Know
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is expected to retain a 10.4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2000 by 1200 and support for the S Pen. However, the main upgrade could be the use of Samsung's Exynos 1280 chipset, which is different from the usual Snapdragon processors found in previous models.
Rumours also suggest that the tablet will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with a larger version also likely to be available. Details about the 128GB version are still unknown.
The gadget will have a 7040 mAh battery, but details about fast charging capabilities are still being kept quiet.
Samsung seems to be planning to release two versions of the tablet - with and without LTE support, allowing users to choose the most convenient option for them. The cost of the new model without LTE support may be 400 euros, while the version with LTE may cost a little more up to 450 euros.
There is no official information on the release date of the tablet yet, but according to leaked renders, it will be available in black and beige colours.
