Samsung plans to release Galaxy Ring this summer
The company plans to produce about 400,000 units of Galaxy Ring.
Here's What We Know
It is known that the Galaxy Ring will be available in sizes eight to nine and will be launched without a medical certificate. The device is expected to be unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event in July, leading to a market debut in August.
Despite the Korean giant planning to start production in May, it is still going through the certification process to ensure it meets medical requirements. This could delay the Galaxy Ring's designation as a medical device by 10-12 months before it receives approval in South Korea and the US.
Fans can expect the Galaxy Ring to be unveiled alongside other Samsung new products, such as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6, during the Galaxy Unpacked event in July.
Prospective users may be interested to know that the device will be available in platinum silver, gold, and ceramic black colours. The Samsung Galaxy Ring was shown at the MWC 2024 exhibition in Barcelona, where its style and design were discussed in detail.
Interest in the Samsung Unpacked summer event has increased, especially given the possible date of 10 July, which may coincide with the Olympic Games in Paris. It is worth noting that there are rumours that the Unpacked event itself may take place in the French capital.
