A drone that can carry missiles has been developed in Serbia
The Serbian Military Technical Institute has presented the first version of an attack drone that can carry an anti-tank missile system.
Here's What We Know
During his visit to the institute, President Aleksandar Vucic was introduced to the latest military technologies, including drones.
The name of the UAV has not yet been disclosed, but it is known that it is equipped with two Maljutka 2T missiles manufactured by the Serbian company Yugoimport-SDPR. These missiles are the "descendants" of old Soviet ATGMs produced in Yugoslavia, but the modern models are improved. They have advanced semi-automatic guidance and are capable of penetrating dynamic armour up to 800 mm thick.
The range and time of operation of the guided missile drone is not specified, but Maljutka has a range of up to three kilometres.
