iQOO Z9 5G: 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip, IP54 protection and 5000mAh battery with 44W charging for $240
As promised, vivo has held an event in India where it revealed its new iQOO Z9 5G smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The gadget sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness. The panel supports HDR 10+.
The iQOO Z9 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The inbuilt memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB if desired. The smartphone is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. The novelty supports fast charging at 44W. The smartphone also features IP54 water protection, stereo speakers, an under-screen scanner and a USB Type-C port.
The gadget comes with a 50 MP (Sony IMX882) + 2 MP dual main camera. The main sensor supports OIS + EIS and can record 4K video at 30fps. The front camera in the iQOO Z9 5G is at 16 megapixels. Out of the box, the smartphone features Android 14 operating system and Funtouch OS 14 shell.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the iQOO Z9 5G will start in India on the 13th of March. The smartphone will be priced from $240.
