Unexpected: the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G will not be released in the US
Samsung announced the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G in the global market on 11 March. As it turns out, the top model of the series will not be released in the US market.

The information was shared by our colleagues from CNET, citing a statement from a Samsung US representative. Why the company decided not to release the Galaxy A55 5G on the US market is unknown. As for the Galaxy A35 5G, it should appear in the US in the near future.
"We can confirm that Galaxy A35 5G will be coming to the US market and look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks. We will not be carrying the Galaxy A55 5G at this time"
For those not in the know
The Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G come with a 5,000 mAh battery, 25W charging and IP67 protection. The Galaxy A55 gets a 120Hz OLED display, a 50 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP main camera, a 32 MP front camera and an Exynos 1480 chip. The Galaxy A35 has the same panel. In addition, the novelty has a 50 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP main camera, 13 MP front camera and Exynos 1380 chip.
