A striking trailer for the cancelled online game Spider-Man: The Great Web has surfaced online
In December 2023, the hacker group Rhysida hacked into Insomniac Games' servers and leaked confidential information to the public, which made the general public aware of all of the studio's projects for the next decade.
One of such projects was the cancelled multiplayer game Spider-Man: The Great Web.
Here's What We Know
Among Insomniac's files there was found suspiciously polished trailer (apparently, announcing) of Spider-Man: The Great Web. It's stylized under Marvel comics and fully reflects the main idea of the cancelled game - a lot of Spider-Men together fight against criminals of New York and battle with famous super-villains. The trailer is accompanied by a voice-over narration by an actor whose voice Spider-Man fans will easily recognise - Yuri Lowenthal (his voice belongs to Peter Parker).
Apparently, The Great Web was supposed to be a game-service, similar to Marvel's Spider-Man and GTA Online at the same time.
For ethical reasons we won't post the trailer, but for those whose curiosity exceeds moral standards - we'll tell you where you can watch it.
