Sam Lake has finished recording his moves for Alan Wake 2 DLC
Alan Wake 2 was released in November 2023, but it's too early to say goodbye to the game, because players will have two add-ons. And thanks to Sam Lake, the creative director of Remedy, it became clear that the process of creating DLC is in full swing.
Here's What We Know
Sam posted a photo of himself in a mocap suit in a T-pose and with a cup of coffee. With this photo, Lake let it be known that his acting for AW 2 was over, as his last movements were recorded. We would like to remind you that Sam Lake played detective Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2, so we should expect Casey to appear again, but in the expansion.
Flashback
Two add-ons are being prepared for the game: Night Springs, which should be released in late spring 2024, and Lake House, but its release date is unknown.
You can read the official description of the Night Springs expansion below:
"Visions and Dreams. Fiction is written and becomes reality. Fantasy is destroyed and remains only words on the page. These are the stories... in Night Springs. Play as some of the familiar characters from Alan Wake's world and explore the unexplainable in several standalone episodes of Night Springs, a fictional TV show set in the world of Alan Wake."
Official description of the Lake House expansion:
"Lake House is a mysterious facility located on the shores of Lake Cauldron, created by an independent government organisation to conduct secret research... until something goes wrong. Explore this place and embark on two separate adventures as the realities of the Anderson and Alan Wake Saga collide once again."
It is also known that the expansion will focus on the Federal Bureau of Control. And owners of the Deluxe edition of Alan Wake 2 will receive two add-ons automatically.
