Gaming media published the final previews of samurai action game Rise of the Ronin
There is not much time left before the release of the ambitious action game Rise of the Ronin and the leading gaming media released the final previews, in which they shared their impressions about the game.
Here's What We Know
IGN journalists praised Rise of the Ronin for its exciting story, dynamic gameplay and a huge amount of quality content.
Another plus of the game was its non-linearity - the player directly affects the course of events. IGN believes that in terms of gameplay Rise of the Ronin resembles Assassin's Creed 2, Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls at the same time, but the game is inferior in technical performance to a similar project - Ghost of Tsushima.
GameSpot journalist noted that Rise of the Ronin is much more accessible to the general public than other Team Ninja games: the game is still quite complex, but individual decisions of developers made some of its elements easier and clearer.
VGC experts were satisfied with the combat system of the new Team Ninja project, but they noted that the behaviour of some enemies does not allow you to predict their actions, which can make battles with them too difficult.
Push Square noted that Rise of the Ronin has a much bigger budget than the developer's previous games. Apparently, this was made possible by the game's exclusivity contract with Sony for PlayStation.
When We Can Expect It
Rise of the Ronin will release on 22 March on PS5 only.
