The game director of the Star Wars Jedi series and God of War 3 has founded Giant Skull Studios and is already working on an AAA project
In September 2023, it became known that the game director of Star Wars Jedi series Stig Asmussen will leave the studio Respawn Entertainment.
As it turned out, the famous developer did not sit idle, and founded his own studio and is already working on a new game.
Here's What We Know
Stig Asmussen announced the opening of his own studio Giant Skull.
His team currently consists of 30 people who are already working on an ambitious third-person narrative action game.
Stig Asmussen is committed to producing quality story-driven games that will appeal to gamers with elaborate worlds and freedom of action.
The Giant Skull team can work from its Los Angeles office or remotely.
Asmussen separately emphasised that he respects and appreciates his colleagues from Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts and has no complaints about them, but he couldn't turn down the opportunity to try his hand at running his own company.
He claims that the studio already has a full development budget for the debut project, but would not admit who the sponsor is.
