Insider: vivo is working on the iQOO Z9 Turbo smartphone with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip on board

The company vivo recently announced a smartphone iQOO Z9 5G, and now there is information that the manufacturer is working on an improved version of the device.

This was told by an insider Digital Chat Station. The novelty will be called iQOO Z9 Turbo. The main difference between the smartphone will be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. This is a new SoC, which will debut at Qualcomm's presentation on 18 March. The chip will get the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It should come with a single 3.0GHz Cortex X4 core, four 2.6GHz Cortex A720 cores and three 1.8GHz Cortex A520 cores.

It is also known that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will get a 144Hz OLED display, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The gadget will come with 120W charging and Android 14 (OriginOS 4) operating system.

When We Can Expect It

The release of the iQOO Z9 Turbo will take place in China in a month. Whether the novelty will appear on the global market is still unknown.
