The seventh season of Battlefield 2042 launches next week: the developers have released a trailer of the major update

Electronic Arts and DICE studio presented a trailer of the seventh season of Battlefield 2042 online shooter.

Here's What We Know

The season will start on the 19th of March and will be called "Turning Point" (Turning Point).

In the update players are expected two new maps, additional weapons, equipment and gadgets.

The developers warned that some of the shown innovations will be added to the game only with patch 7.2, and its release is scheduled for May.

Gamers will get:

  • a brand new map Haven for 64 players, the place of action will be a village in Chile, and the locations are placed air defence systems to combat helicopters;
  • The Stadium map (with patch 7.2) will bring back the area that used to be part of the Hourglass map;
  • SCZ-3 submachine gun, AK 5C carbine and DFR Strife machine gun (with patch 7.2);
  • SRAW gadget - a launcher for manually guided missiles;
  • XFAD-4 Draugr unmanned bomber (with patch 7.2);
  • 100 additional battle pass levels;
  • technical improvements and interface changes.

All purchasers of the Year 1 Pass with the release of Turning Point will receive all content from Seasons 5 and 6.

Please note! Battlefield 2042 will once again host a free weekend from 21 to 24 March, with new content available as part of the promotion. Last time (in autumn 2023) itattracted a record number of gamersto the shooter and perhaps the developers expect to repeat the success.
