Ubisoft Montpellier studio has revealed a plan for content support for the highly regarded action-platformer Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
Here's What We Know
The French company's game designers have planned to release three free updates and one paid story add-on.
"The roadmap for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown:
- Warrior's Path free DLC will be released on 20 March, adding a speedrun mode, a permanent death mode, and a few extra costumes;
- Spring 2024 Boss Attack update will introduce Boss Rush mode, where players will be able to fight bosses again. Several costumes will be offered as well;
- Divine Trials free update is planned for summer 2024. It will feature a series of challenging trials of three types - combat, parkour and puzzles, as well as new amulets (affecting gameplay), costumes and other innovations;
- most likely in autumn 2024 will be released a major paid story add-on, about which nothing is known yet.
Recall, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was released in January 2024 and received unexpectedly high marks from critics and excellent reviews from gamers, but this did not help the game to gain widespread popularity. Ubisoft was left disappointed with the platformer's sales.
