Microsoft is expanding the availability of its AI assistant Copilot Pro with a one-month free trial to attract new users worldwide.

Here's What We Know

Following its January launch to consumers in the US, the Copilot Pro service with a $20 monthly subscription is now becoming available in 222 countries. The free trial will last a month.

The Copilot Pro subscription includes priority access to the latest OpenAI artificial intelligence models, the ability to create custom versions of the GPT chatbot, and integration into Office web and mobile apps for Microsoft 365 subscribers.

-"We’ll extend this benefit to our free mobile apps as well, including the Microsoft 365 app and Outlook for iOS and Android, in the coming months" said Divya Kumar, head of search and AI marketing at Microsoft.

To get a free month of Copilot Pro, users need to install the Copilot mobile app.

Microsoft is also expanding access to Copilot to enterprise customers with certain Microsoft 365 plans in the coming weeks.

The company is expected to announce more Copilot enhancements at its Build conference in May, including artificial intelligence-related changes to Windows 11.
