Xiaomi has unveiled the Smart Camera C500 Pro in Europe: a 3K camera with 360° rotation and two-way voice communication for €70

Xiaomi has introduced a new smart home gadget in European countries - Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Pro for monitoring children and pets.

Here's What We Know

The model features a 5-megapixel camera that captures 3K (2880×1620 pixels) video in HDR mode. There's an ultra low-light mode for colour photography in low-light conditions and IR illumination for crisp black-and-white images in total darkness.

The lens is able to tilt 360° horizontally and 114° vertically for a full view of the space. The camera can be closed when needed for security and privacy.

Xiaomi C500 Pro also gets a microphone and speaker for two-way voice communication, dual-band Wi-Fi support and fully encrypted data transfer with optional cloud storage. The Mi Home app is provided for control. In it, you can set features such as motion detection, noise alerts and customisable monitoring zones. In addition, the camera also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants.

The Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Pro is priced at €70. The camera is already available in France, Spain, Germany, UK and Italy.
