Apple suppliers are gearing up for the biggest AirPods launch to date. This is reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.

Here's What We Know

According to him, the company is preparing not one, but two 4th generation AirPods models. They are codenamed B768(E) and B768(M), where E stands for "entry level" and M for "mid-level". Both models will get an updated design, improved fit and USB-C charging, but the more expensive version will feature noise cancellation and a Find My feature to locate a lost gadget.

According to Mark Gurman, mass production of the headphones should start in May. Apple expects the new AirPods to be a sales hit, as it has ordered a record run of 20 to 25 million units.

Most likely, the official presentation will take place in September or October.

In addition, the new AirPods Pro is expected to be released next year, and later this year the AirPods Max will get a USB-C charging port.
