Insiders: Persona 6 will not be a PlayStation exclusive and will be released on all platforms at once
Atlus hasn't officially announced Persona 6 yet, but reputable insiders are so confident in the game's existence that they've started discussing what platforms it will be available on.
They agree that the new part of the cult JRPG will not be a PlayStation console exclusive, as it was with most of the previous games.
Here's What We Know
The first to report that Persona 6 may be coming out on Xbox at once was insider Nate the Hate on his podcast. He noted that he wasn't 100% sure about Persona 6's non-exclusive status, but another informant confirmed the data.
So, Midori assures that Persona 6 will be released on all current platforms at once, including Nintendo's next console (Switch 2).
Nate the Hate suggests that Sony could still make an offer to Atlus for temporary exclusivity of Persona 6 on PlayStation, but this scenario seems unlikely to him. Especially since recent Persona games, including the recent remake of the third instalment, have not been platform-specific exclusives.
