Former top PlayStation executive Connie Booth has taken an executive position at Electronic Arts
In autumn 2023, the head of PlayStation production Connie Booth left her post after 34 years at Sony.
Long without work Connie Booth did not sit for long and has already accepted an invitation from another major gaming corporation.
Here's What We Know
Experienced top executive took the post of general manager of Electronic Arts.
Connie Booth will reorganise a number of internal studios, which are mainly engaged in the development of action and role-playing games. Her area of responsibility will include such studios as BioWare, EA Motive and Cliffhanger.
The appointment of Connie Booth is good news for those who are awaiting the releases of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and the new Mass Effect instalment, as BioWare's recent projects have drastically damaged gamers' trust in the studio. Perhaps it will be the new head who will fix the organisational problems at BioWare, which will have a positive impact on the quality of future games.
