Apple's new tablets are expected to be officially announced as early asnext week, including updated iPad Pro models. According to a new rumour, the iPad Pro will have several versions that will differ not only in screen size.

Here's What We Know

According to a source under the nickname Instant Digital, who published new details on Weibo, the iPad Pro will allegedly be available in two versions: with a traditional glossy and matte screen. The Apple Studio Display and Pro Display XDR are sold along the same lines, and are available with a glossy display and a panel with a special nano-texture. The matte display diffuses light, minimises glare and reduces eye strain.

Apparently, this is due to the fact that third-party protective films such as Paperlike are quite popular among Apple tablet users. It looks like Apple too has decided to offer such an option to customers.

The matte version of the iPad Pro is expected to be more expensive than the regular version. In comparison, the Studio Display version with nano-texture costs $300 more than the glossy version with standard glass.
