No case needed: crash test shows the Nothing Phone (2a) is stronger than many rivals
The main feature of the Nothing Phone (2a) presented earlier this month is the design: Glyph backlight, interesting design elements and transparent back panel, through which you can see some of the internal components. It's a sin to hide such beauty under a protective case. Therefore, the question arises: how does the smartphone deal with durability?
What is it this time
The authors of the YouTube channel PBKreviews conducted a crash test for Nothing Phone (2a) and tested it for durability. And the smartphone passed the test on "excellent".
So, during the experiment, the gadget was thrown several times on the concrete surface from different heights (from the height of a man's height and waist) and in different ways - screen, side frame and back panel down.
As a result, the smartphone was virtually unscathed: despite several drops, the display and the back side remained intact, without damage, with only small, imperceptible scratches on the side of the frame.
At the same time, we strongly recommend not to repeat such experiments and deliberately not to test the durability of your gadget, because such tests are not a 100% guarantee of the durability of the device, and in many ways everything depends on the case.
