Overall, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth was well received by both players and critics, but there were still complaints about the quality of visuals in performance mode. To remedy the situation, the developers have released Patch 1.020, which offers even more improvements.

Here's What We Know

In addition to general graphics and stability improvements, the update also adds a variety of screen customisation options in productivity mode. Other fixes include text refinement, which sometimes had gaps in it; as well as bug fixes where enemies would suddenly stop moving in battles or suddenly cancel the cooldowns of Red XIII's Lunatic High or Watcher's Spirit skills.

If you want to check out the full list of fixes and improvements, you can do so on the game's official website (we hope you know Japanese).

Where To Play

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is only available to play on PlayStation 5.
