The developers of Dune: Awakening have unveiled an atmospheric trailer and revealed the technical features of the ambitious survival simulator

At the State of Unreal 2024 presentation at the GDC conference Funcom studio presented two materials about multiplayer survival simulator Dune: Awakening.
Here's What We Know
The audience was shown a small trailer, which partly consists of already shown footage, but it looks spectacular and promising.
In addition, Dune: Awakening creative director Joel Bylos familiarised the audience with the Dune: Awakening techno-demo. He said that the game is created on the latest version of Unreal Engine - 5.2, and also uses advanced technologies, including Lumen and Nanite, thanks to which the developers create the most realistic lighting and accurate geometry of objects on the planet Arrakis.
The release date of Dune: Awakening has not been announced yet.
