The official launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has taken place
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the long-awaited new game from Activision, is finally available on smartphones and tablets from today for everyone. The game will require an Android device with at least 4GB of RAM and a relatively old graphics processor.
Here's What We Know
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was available in limited release, but Activision has now fully launched the mobile game on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. The game offers an initial download size of ~1.5GB on Android. However, you will need to download an additional 5GB of data before starting the game.
The game loads more high-resolution resources in the background while you play, promising better visuals the longer you play. Unfortunately, the game doesn't currently allow you to go into the settings and manually load high graphics settings.
The mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone has received the maps Verdansk for 120 players and Revival Island for 48 participants, as well as multiplayer arenas including Shipment, Scrapyard and Shoot House for classic modes like Team Deathmatch.
Call of Duty Warzone Mobile also supports cross-progression, so Battle Pass experience and progress gained in the mobile game carries over to the console/PC version of Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. If you're not sure if you'll be able to play the game, the company noted that Android device owners will need a device with at least 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 618 GPU (Snapdragon 720G and later).
