Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 successor: Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip with Cortex X4 core
Qualcomm the other day showed the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, and now it has unveiled another new product.

The processor was named Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. The novelty is the successor of Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. According to the manufacturer, the chip has received a significant increase in performance (45% improved GPU and 15% CPU). In addition, Qualcomm has worked on the energy efficiency of the SoC. It increased by 5%.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 comes with a single Cortex X4 core at 2.8GHz, as well as four Cortex A720 cores at 2.6GHz and three Cortex A520 cores at 1.9GHz. The chip has been equipped with a new ISP module and an updated Snapdragon X63 5G 5G modem. The processor has become better at handling AI-based tasks. The SoC supports displays with resolutions up to 4K and refresh rates up to 240Hz, as well as LPDDR5X RAM up to 24GB, UFS 4.0 storage, cameras up to 200 MP, Wi-Fi-7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
When We Can Expect It
The first smartphone based on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 will be the OnePlus Ace 3V. The chip will also appear in realme and Sharp devices in the near future.
