Samsung recently announced a new type of speaker, the Music Frame. This product was first unveiled at CES 2024 and is now available for pre-order in the US. The Music Frame (HW-LS60D) costs $400 and is almost ready to ship. If you live in the US and pre-order today on Samsung.com, it should arrive at your home by 1 April 2024.

Here's What We Know

The Music Frame is a dual-mode speaker that can work independently and serve as an auxiliary speaker for your Samsung TV. It comes in white colour, but you can customize the bezels of its frame just like Samsung's The Frame TV. The speaker blends in with your home décor and perfectly complements Samsung's The Frame and The Serif TVs.

Music Frame features six drivers - two tweeters, two mid-range drivers and two woofers - for a total audio output power of 120 watts RMS. It uses Samsung's SpaceFit Sound technology to calibrate itself to the size of the room. The speaker is compatible with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus and Hi-Res Audio. The speaker also has Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound, and Wireless Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. The speaker has access to Alexa and Bixby and can be controlled via the SmartThings app.
