Media : Rockstar Game may push back the release of GTA VI to 2026, but is trying to avoid that decision
A few weeks ago it became known that Rockstar Games studio urges its employees to return to their offices from 1 April.
This decision is due to the need to improve work efficiency and reduce the likelihood of leaks. But perhaps there is another important argument.
Here's What We Know
Accordingto Kotaku portal, Rockstar Game management fears that at the current pace of development the studio will not have time to release GTA VI in 2025, although the announcement trailer shows this very date.
According to sources, there is a high probability that the release of the most anticipated game will have to be postponed to 2026.
Both Rockstar Games and Take-Two are keen to do everything they can to prevent this from happening.
Many employees are unhappy with the decision to return to the office and the general mood is directly affecting the quality of work, while individual developers fear that towards the end of the year Rockstar will once again start endless crunches, something the studio has been trying to get away from for several years.
