Xiaomi has certified the Xiaomi Buds 5 headphones: what's known about them

At the end of 2022, Xiaomi introduced Buds 4 wireless headphones (pictured). More than a year has passed and the manufacturer is finally preparing to announce their successors.

Here's What We Know

Xiaomi Buds 5 are detected on several certification sites - they pass with the model number M2341E1. That said, the FCC site reveals some details about the new model.

So, the headphones use a frequency range from 2400 MHz to 2483.5 MHz, equipped with a PIFA antenna with an impedance of 50 ohms. The dimensions of the headphones are 17.18×20.17×30 mm and the charging case is 53.2*24.5*53.93 mm. The total weight of the device is 44.7g.

Apart from the FCC database, the Xiaomi Buds 5 has also been spotted on SDPPI, SIRIM and CMIIT certification sites. But unfortunately, other specifications are unknown.

The exact release date too remains a mystery for now.
