Baldur's Gate III will get more ominous endings, - says the head of Larian Studios
Larian Studios immediately stated that they will not release any expansion packs or sequels for Baldur's Gate III, and now they are working on updates that should increase the number of endings in the game, as recently revealed by the studio's head Swen Vincke.
Here's What We Know
As soon as these additional "sinister" endings are implemented, Vincke noted that the studio will reduce its focus on Baldur's Gate 3 to bug fixes, freeing up resources for new projects.
In addition, Larian is working with Wizards of the Coast, Sony, and Microsoft to integrate Baldur's Gate 3 mods across platforms. These efforts are aimed at ensuring that console players can access PC mods, albeit with some compatibility restrictions.
Winke also mentioned Larian's future plans, hinting at a major RPG project that will surpass Baldur's Gate 3 in scale, although it will not be their next release, like Divinity: Original Sin 3.
