Galaxy Tab A7 Lite upgrades to One UI 6.0 in the US

A couple of months ago, Samsung released the Android 14 update with One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. But at that time, the update was only released in South Korea. Now the update for this budget tablet is available in the US as well.

Here's What We Know

This big update, with firmware version T227USQU8DXB4, is now available for carrier-locked models in the US. A December 2023 security patch is also provided along with the update, which fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.

The One UI 6.0 update brings a new quick bar layout, more detailed lock screen customisation and a new emoji design. All standard Samsung apps such as Gallery, Weather, Reminders, My Files, Calendar, Samsung Keyboard and Samsung Internet have received new and improved features. New widgets, gestures and a new default font have also been added.

The update should roll out to other regions soon.
