According to WABetaInfo, this new feature will allow users to get answers to complex questions right in the search bar, without having to go to separate chats. This will greatly facilitate communication with contacts and make finding information more convenient.

The assistants available in the search bar will be based on the Meta AI model, which will allow them to provide users with personalised and supportive answers to various questions.

In addition, WhatsApp is also working on expanding its image editing capabilities. New tools such as Backdrop, Restyle, and Expand have been revealed that will likely allow users to change the background, style, and size of images using artificial intelligence.

The new features may be available in upcoming updates to the WhatsApp app.
