Qualcomm unveils S3 Gen 3 and S5 Gen 3 sound platforms

Qualcomm has announced the release of two new audio platforms that expand the capabilities of mid-range and premium headphones.

The S5 Gen 3 features nearly 50 times more artificial intelligence power, a better digital-to-analog converter with improved signal-to-noise ratio, 4th generation adaptive active noise cancellation, and many other technologies that make sound even clearer and more scalable.

The S3 Gen 3 audio platform now supports Qualcomm's Voice & Music Extension, which was previously available only to premium customers.

Vivo is expected to be the first to implement the new S3 Gen 3 platform in its devices.

According to Qualcomm, the demand for high-quality sound is high and users are willing to invest in high-end devices, indicating the demand for audio technology among a wide range of consumers.
