Google Pixel Watch 3 will get a slightly increased battery capacity
Google is expectedly working not only on the new Google Pixel 9 smartphone, but also so on the new Google Pixel Watch 3 smartwatch. A recent leak from certification sites Dekra and Safety Korea has revealed the battery capacity of the alleged Google Pixel Watch 3.
Here's What We Know
The upcoming Google Pixel Watch 3 is expected to feature a slight increase in battery capacity. The new model, probably labelled as model number G1QME, will feature a 307mAh battery, which is 3mAh more than the Pixel Watch 2 (304mAh).
Unlike the first two models, the Pixel Watch 3 is rumoured to come in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm, to cater to users who found the previous models too small.
The new watch is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 processor and will come pre-installed with the new WearOS. Thanks to the increased battery capacity, battery life is expected to improve.
While the design of the new watch is still unknown, Google is expected to make some changes to avoid releasing identical models three years in a row.
Google Pixel Watch 2 was launched last year along with the Pixel 8 series. The new Pixel Watch 3 is expected to debut this autumn alongside the Pixel 9 series.
