Rumour: iPhone SE 4 will get a 6.1-inch OLED display made by Chinese company BOE
Details about the fourth-generation iPhone SE continue to emerge on the internet.
Here's What We Know
According to a report from the publication IT Home, Apple plans to install in the novelty displays of the Chinese company BOE. We are talking about an OLED panel with a diagonal of 6.1 inches.
Initially Apple was in talks with Samsung Display and Tianma, but in the first case the companies did not agree on the price. Apple offered $25 for each panel, while Samsung wanted $30. In the second case, Apple did not like the quality of Tianma's screens. Therefore, the American manufacturer decided to choose BOE company as a supplier of displays for the iPhone SE 4.
There is no information about the price of the panel yet, but the report says that the screens will be much cheaper than those currently installed in the iPhone 15.
