Rumour: Huawei P70 series is ready to launch now
Huawei is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphone, the Huawei P70. According to rumours, the presentation of the device will take place in a few days.

According to the leak, the announcement will take place on 2 April at 14:30 Chinese time. According to a Chinese insider, there will be at least four variants - Huawei P70, P70 Pro, P70 Pro+ and P70 Art. All the phones are expected to be powered by the Kirin 9000S chipset. This is an SoC built on a 7nm SMIC process.
Also, according to rumours, the regular variant of the Huawei P70 will get a 6.58-inch LTPO OLED screen, while the senior models will get 6.76-inch LTPO OLED screens. The main camera module in Huawei P70 and P70 Pro will have a 50MP OmniVision OV50H, while the P70 Pro+ and P70 Art models will put a 50MP sensor from Sony IMX989. The selfie camera on all models will be 13MP.
The Huawei P70 will get a 5,000mAh battery with 88W wired and 50W wireless charging. The P70 Pro model will get a 5,200 mAh battery, while the P70 Pro+ and P70 Art will feature a 5,100 mAh battery. All three senior models will get 88W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.
As for pricing, the rumoured Huawei P70 will be priced at 4,999 yuan ($700) for 12/512GB, the Huawei P70 Pro will be priced at 6,999 yuan ($970) for 12/256GB, the Huawei P70 Pro+ will cost 8,999 yuan ($1,200) for 16/512GB and the Huawei P70 Art will be priced at 9,999 yuan ($1,400) for 16/512GB.
