Elon Musk presents updated Grok-1.5 AI

Elon Musk has announced the release of an updated version of his artificial intelligence, Grok-1.5, which, according to him, is capable of outperforming competitors in the fields of mathematics and coding.

The new version of XAI (Explainable Artificial Intelligence) is already available for the first testers and guarantees significant improvements in functionality and efficiency.

Grok-1.5 boasts a significant increase in results in tests requiring mathematical calculations and solving complex coding problems. The new AI demonstrates an increase in efficiency in such parameters as textual maths processing and coding skills, approaching the level of competitors such as Gemini Pro 1.5, GPT-4, and Claude 3 Opus.

The most significant improvement made to Grok-1.5 concerns its ability to analyse longer contexts. According to Musk, the new AI can process contexts of up to 128K tokens, which is twice the previous capacity. Grok will be able to increase the memory capacity up to 16 times.

However, it is worth noting that Grok-1.5 may still have some shortcomings in other areas, such as academic scores and multimodality.

Grok is currently available for Premium+ users on the X platform.
