Tecno Pova 6 Pro unveiled: futuristic design, big battery and powerful charging
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro, which was unveiled at MWC 2024 in February, has been officially announced in India today.

The smartphone has got a special Arc Interface design that contains over 200 LEDs on the back and they can offer over 100 customisation options. The Pova 6 Pro has a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The device gets a 108-megapixel rear main camera with 10x zoom, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and artificial intelligence lens. The front camera will get a 32MP enlargement. In addition, the smartphone will get two stereo speakers, HiOS 14 powered by Android 14, an inbuilt fingerprint scanner and LED backlighting system.
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro will be India's first smartphone with a 6000mAh battery and 70W fast charging support. The device will take 50 minutes to charge. According to the manufacturer, the Pova 6 Pro supports charging at very low temperatures down to -20°C to ensure efficient charging in challenging conditions. The battery promises a longevity of 6 years, retaining 80% or more of its capacity after 1600 charging cycles.
The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The device will also have an IP53 protected body and will get up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will be available in two colours Meteorite Gray and Comet Green.
The Pova 6 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs 19,999 Indian rupees for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB configuration will cost Rs 21,999 Indian rupees. Buyers will be able to avail an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on both models, which brings down the effective price to Rs 17,999 Indian rupees and Rs 19,999 Indian rupees respectively. The brand is even offering free gifts worth Rs 4,999 Indian rupees to customers who buy the device through online and offline channels.
The smartphone will be sold through Amazon India and the first sale will start on 4 April 2024 at 12 noon ET.
