Koei Tecmo announces the creation of a new studio, the name has not yet been disclosed

Developer Koei Tecmo is restructuring and creating a new AAA development studio that will focus on creating new big games.

The project will be headed by experienced producer Yosuke Hayashi, known for his work on games such as Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and Nioh. Hayashi will also serve as executive vice president of the company's entertainment division. The name of the studio has not yet been disclosed.

Koei Tecmo's latest release is Team Ninja's Rise of the Ronin, with plans to expand the open-world structure in future projects.
