Apple plans to introduce budget AirPods and a new version of AirPods Max this year

The information was shared by Jeff Pu, an analyst with the investment company Haitong International Securities. According to the report, the Cupertinians are now working on budget AirPods, as well as an updated version of AirPods Max.

If previous leaks are to be believed, the AirPods will hit the market in two versions. The models will get an updated design, improved fit and USB-C charging. The more expensive version will feature noise cancellation and Find My.

As for the new AirPods Max, they will get the same design, improved ANC and a USB-C charging port.

When We Can Expect It

We shouldn't expect the release of the headphones anytime soon. If everything goes according to plan, the new products will be shown in the fourth quarter.
