An insider has confirmed the development of Samsung's Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra
Rumours that Samsung will release three foldable devices in 2024 have been around for a while now. Along with the regular Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6, the company will introduce a third new foldable smartphone this year.
Here's What We Know
Well-known whistleblower Ice Universe today claimed that Samsung is working on an ultra-version of the Galaxy Fold 6. Unfortunately, details about its specifications and design are still unknown, so it's unclear how it will differ from the standard version.
The device reportedly has the model number SM-S948, which confirms the Ultra version with higher specs. Samsung devices with an 8 at the end of the model number are usually the most powerful in the lineup. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has the number SM-S928. This means that the third foldable device will likely be called the Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra. Given the lack of information about the Ultra version of the smartphone, the device could still be in the early stages of development.
The other two upcoming bendable devices, the Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6, have already been the subject of numerous leaks. They could be announced as early as July. The Ultra version, on the other hand, could arrive a few months later.
