Apple has announced a planned temporary shutdown of its Apple Podcasts Connect service, which will take place on 13 April. This is due to maintenance.

Here's What We Know

The company has sent an email to podcast creators to warn about this delay. During the maintenance, the Apple Podcasts Connect platform will be turned off for two hours. This means that during this time, users will not be able to access Apple Podcasts Connect or view analytics.

Apple Podcasts Connect is a service that allows creators to submit their podcasts to the Apple Podcasts platform, manage the details of their shows, and receive analytics.

Earlier this year, Apple introduced an automatically generated transcript for Apple Podcasts, which became available in English, French, German and Spanish. Apple Podcasts is one of the key platforms for listening to podcasts on Apple devices such as iPhone, Mac, and Apple TV.
