Players recognise Lara Croft as the most iconic character in the history of video games

Who is the most iconic character in the history of video games? Everyone has their own opinion, but the British Academy of Television and Film Arts (BAFTA) decided to conduct a survey among 4000 players to find out who is really the leader in this debate.
Here's What We Know
The first place went to one of the most adventurous girls in the history of games - Lara Croft from the Tomb Rider series. The second place went to one of the most famous characters - Mario, and the third place went to the cold-blooded bald Agent 47 from Hitman.
The list also includes such legends as Arthur Morgan, Kratos, Ellie, Drake, Sonic, and even Seaboy.
